It can pretty much do anything you want and even assign it its own IP address. I have a 2 tb Fantom drive megadisk nas for sale. Perfect for a PC or maybe someone better at using a mac then I am. This is perfect for those of you for mac or PC who want to set up there own in home movie or music system, raid or network.

This drive has not been used for more then 1 month and then sat on a shelf. Only thing on it is a sticker for the IP address that can be removed. I have the drive, cables and install CD with instructions.
