That worked perfectly. The photos below show the configuration screens and drive details after putting it back together. The controller died about 2 months ago so I figured I could purchase the exact same model and open the case to install my drives into the controller in order to download my files. I have owned one of these for 4yrs and stored all of my family photos and music.

So just to be clear this unit is new, but the case has been opened. Let me be 100% clear about the status of this device. The unit works as new. Posted with mobile.

So I have put the original drives back in the case closed it all back up.
