Also, it seems the Owc sticker on the ssd is slightly peeled which was the way I originally received it. Note: the thermal pad on the controller is a bit smooched for the lack of a better term due to the bottom cover of the MBA. I was moving from a 2010 MVP to a 2012 MBA due to portability and had previously been using a crucial m4 ssd 512 listing this as well: and thought I could live with the smaller drive on the MBA however due to my large video files and laziness to off load to a separate HDD decided to bite the bullet on the larger Owc ssd.

I will include a new thermal pad with this ssd from Owc.
